16th June, 2005 // Honduras
Mothernature’s day

Few people get to experience TWO demonstrations of mother-nature’s fury (see I did spell it right this time). Last Saturday the 21st of May, I lived through a hurricane and a earthquake. My second earthquake in central America. The hurricane turned out to be a dud. It was supposed to be more severe than Mitch, which basically caused rain for 3 days in Honduras, paralyzing the country and causing an immense amount of damage. Volunteers were supposed to be on red alert and might have been evacuated. Personally I wasn’t too worried. I’m a hurricane vet (I lived through one in Boston).
