Port Douglas, Tully, Emerald, Rockhampton
Our second diving trip was as good as the rest, except I ran out of air TWICE and had to come up early. Our last three dives in Australia. Depressing!
We drove to Tully after leaving the marina and picking up our free blow up of one of our diving pictures. The next two days were driving. We decided to head inland to visit a National Park on the way. The 15+ hours we drove were uneventful, time passed by counting the road kill, which there was lots of.....monitors, kangaroos..COWS! WE stayed in Emerald for one night, after nearly running out of gas. A nice Austian man shared his supper with us. Exhausted from our day of driving we headed to our tent, only Lauras had blown away....the wind picks up pretty quickly here.
We made a stop in Rockhampton and visited a morbid art museum and for lunch. WE made our destination by dark
