Eungella National Park & MacKay

On our way to Eungella national park, we stopped at this amazing swimming hole in Finch Hiatt Gorge. Not too many people there, the water was cold for once! We stayed here most of the afternoon, before driving a little further to Eungella National PArk. The campsites were full, so we paired up with two french girls. The night was pretty uneventful, except for the overly friendly possum, the lack of water, millions of flies, monsters at the platipus lookout, etc. At 5:30 the next morning, Jeff and I dragged Laura out of bed to go see the Platipuses. Probably the first and only time we will see them! There were between 5-10 swimming around. Lots of Turtles as well.
We drove back to MacKay and up to Arlie Beach yesterday. We leave for our diving trip today.
