Change of Plans
Last night I foolishly followed the Korean and Fin to a severely disappointing pizza restaurant and then to watch the epic saga that is the third Lord of the Rings movie. I will simply say that the experience reinforced my staunchly negative view of theaters. Stumbling out of the theater suffering from paralysis due to the movie´s inordinate length, the three of us saulked down Lima´s streets at 2am. I spent today researching tours to the Bolivian jungle, and after three hours and the help of two Belgian girls, I have concluded it is best to pass on the tour due to the rainy season (the grass runways are flooded). So this new delightful group of three may head to Corico on supposedly the world´s most dangerous road and soak up some mountain rays.
