What are keywords?

Keywords are used to help with searching and related stories, if you have 2 stories and they both have the keyword apple in them then you will get a related stories box appear in the story allowing the user to go directly to the other story.

Each user will have a different way of assigning keywords, based on the number of locations they are travelling to and also the number of different activities they will be doing eg. if I was travelling to hawaii and I was going to be doing a lot of surfing, I wouldn't use hawaii and surfing as a keyword in each story (however I would use these as keywords in my profile) instead for my story keywords I might write a story about waimea bay and waimea would be a keyword.

The best way to figure out what is best for you is to experiment a bit until you find something that works well for you.
