Why won't my story publish?

Question: I've written a story and checked the publish checkbox, however my story isn't appearing on my latest news page.

Answer: Make sure that the date you have selected is a date that is current or in the past, if you select a date that's in the future, your story won't be displayed to visitors until that date.
